Have a Happy New Year

The Gallery Exhibition is closing tomorrow and I am left with a great happiness in my heart. I am so glad I made it and fulfilled my dream to present my art work. The reviews and feedbacks from the crowd were amazing. This gallery show truly exceeded all of my expectations.

With a mix of sadness and satisfaction, I can brag about selling so many paintings. In fact I have so little paintings left that I have to delay my next gallery exhibition until I create more materials.

Have a Happy and Creative New Year!

Wrote about me in Ynet

Posted by Shelly on August 14, 2011 at 6:45 AM Comments comments (0)

The culture and art forum manager at Ynet (Israeli online newspaper) wrote a very flattering review about my galley exhibition:

He writes:

Shelly’s paintings are characterized by lively colors as you can see from the examples I published.

The experience of viewing her artwork is enhanced after you find out that she never had formal training on how to paint.

There are quite a few paintings in the gallery. The exhibition is very impressive and I recommend a visit.

Yesterday was AMAZING!

Thank you all for showing up to my exhibition opening at Squela Gallery.

It was an amazing event. I am very happy that so many people showed up. It was so vivid and people kept showing up the entire night. We left only after midnight.

The responses were fantastic. I was glad to see how each person could relate to another picture. It was interesting to see how people had very distinct favorites painting.

Many people asked when else can they meet me at the gallery. So for those of you who want to revisit, and for the people who couldn’t attend the opening, I will publish a few meetup dates.

It was a magical event.

Thank you!

Hanging Pictures

Today the professional team hung pictures at the gallery. It was very interesting to see how it all comes together.

Only 3 more days till the opening…

Counting  :D

lees then 2 weeks to my gallery exhibition

Preparing for the first gallery exhibition is very exciting for me. I must say this is not an easy task. A few days ago I finished preparing the text, invites and business cards before the exhibition and printed everything in a professional printing shop (Corona – Ranana). I am very pleased with the results and holding the invitation makes it so real :D

The invitation to the gallery is showing in several websites already and you can find it here, on my home page. I will be happy to see you on Aug 11 at 8pm.

Other than that, I finally met Moran for another session of painting. Below is the latest version of her painting. This experience is very interesting. I found that I have to be very patient and let go and allow the other person to express themselves.

Some exciting news!

Things are moving fast!

Yesterday, I signed in for my first solo gallery show. Saquella gallery is a small fantastic place right next to a stylish coffee shop in Natania it is owned by the Culture Municipal of Natanya and is placed next door to their building on Raziel 8 st. Here is a link to the city post about Saquella.

I will present my works there Starting August for about a month. I will post all the details soon.

Another new thing I started doing recently is join Reuven Tishrey Artist Class in the Rishpon Studio. Reuven is a well known Israeli artist and he helps me critique my work and expand my artistic expression and knowledge. Here is a link to his site.

Many people ask ..

Posted by Shelly on May 24, 2011 at 9:25 AM Comments comments (0)

Many people ask me if they can buy my paintings. So here is how it goes -

Some of the paintings are for sale and others are already in private collections.

Prices start at 700 shekel for abstracts, 1000 shekel for a small landscape artwork, and start at 2500 shekel for portraits. Email me if you are interested to buy:  [email protected]

If you are interested to create your own painting, it is possible to join a private 1 on 1 workshop with me. By the end of the workshop you will complete your own artwork. Details will be provided in the future.

Here is an original gift idea – buy your love ones an oil portrait. I can paint for you a portrait to order. Details will be provided in the future.
